This project is to be a large piece built up from several wheel-thrown pieces.

For a start, we tried a tall cylinder, pushed out a little to add volume. The clay used is Highwater "Loafer's Glory," a relatively smooth white stoneware.

When this didn't make the first salt firing and the second was canceled, this piece was dunked in some glazes for regular cone 10 reduction firing.
