... but perhaps goodies -- at least as a historical record. A little darkroom clean-up has rediscovered some 4 x 5 negatives taken by yours truly in the 1960s. (Well, it's a chance to try the transparency scanner mode on my Epson 3200!)
Included are shots from a major trek to Colorado in 1965, assorted and sundry "Iron Horse Rambles" run by
the Reading Railroad in eastern Pennsylvania in the 1960s, and other miscellany.
I think I sorted out the films OK, but it's academic, as none of them are available today! I'd probably use Ilford HP5+ if I were going to indulge in the 4x5 shots today. The dates are pretty shaky. On most of the Iron Horse shoots, I took color slides along with the LF B&W, so one of these days I should be able to get the year, and probably the month when most of the shots were taken. I fear I have never been as disciplined as I could be about recording photo info. In addition to the Kodak 152 mm f7.7 Anastigmat listed, I also own a Kodak Ektar 127 mm f4.5 and have no absolute certainty about which was actually used for any given shot. There was also an 88 mm lens used early on (which can be recognized by vignetting!)
