... but perhaps goodies — at least as a historical record. A little darkroom clean-up has rediscovered some 4 x 5 negatives taken by Ye Olde Photographer in the 1960s using his B&J 4x5 Press. (Well, it's a chance to try the transparency scanner mode on the Epson 3200!)
Included are shots from a major trek to Colorado in 1965, assorted and sundry "Iron Horse Rambles" run by the Reading Railroad in eastern Pennsylvania in the 1960s, and other miscellany.
The film IDs may be OK, but it's academic, as none of them are available today! YOP would probably use Ilford HP5+ if he were going to indulge in the 4x5 shots today. The dates are pretty shaky. On most of the Iron Horse shoots, color slides were taken along with the LF B&W, so one of these days we may be able to get the year, and probably the month when most of the shots were taken. It appears YOP has never been as disciplined as he might have been about recording photo info. In addition to the Kodak 152 mm f7.7 Anastigmat listed, there is also a Kodak Ektar 127 mm f4.5 and there is no absolute certainty about which was actually used for any given shot. There was also an 88 mm lens used early on (which can be recognized by vignetting!)
