Photos taken on Sunday, 09 March 2008, a day that began with a visit to the Camden Market. The market area surrounds a canal lock on the Regents Canal. The canal is still very much operational and goes from London to Liverpool. According to a boater, there are nearly 2000 miles of working canals in the UK.

We followed that with an Underground trip over several lines and toured a bit of the National Gallery — a chance to note there is more texture in Van Gogh's "Sunflowers" than we ever realized looking at prints.
