Found in Alburtis, Pennsylvania, this is a former iron works with remnants preserved as a museum and grounds nicely maintained as a park. Some of the former railroad rights of way are now trails. The business started just after the Civil War and closed in 1921, being no longer economically viable.
(Some of Ye Olde Photographer's interest may be that one of the founding principals of Lock Ridge was a David Thomas!)
The first pass here was spur of the moment and resulted in a general survey with digital color. Some time later YOP got back there with the Bronica film gear to try some B&W "artistry." (Images are negative scans from Fuji Acros 100 done on an Epson 3200.) A brief visit in 2012 sees some changes, including removal of an arch seen in several previous pictures.
