This just caught my eye. Some of the central supports for the platform shelter at the RR station
did double duty as utility poles for a rather substantial array of open signal wires. We seldom
see that any more. And, circa 2011, these are gone as the station becomes a transportation hub
and Norfolk Southern upgrades the rail corridor, albeit, without passenger service so far.
