There are dozens of wineries in the Finger Lakes region of central New York. One could likely spend several weeks or months checking them all out. Ye Olde Photographer and his Faire Spouse randomly checked out a few. Some to get out of a shower or two, others to try their food offerings. It was great fun, and we did indeed return with almost two cases worth of wines we liked.

On our Saturday trek from Letchworth park to Seneca Falls we visited a winery on the west side of Seneca Lake and one on the west side of Cayuga Lake to enjoy indoor activity on a drizzly day; a chance to taste some wines and eat some lunch. On another day we traveled south of Seneca Falls where in the land between Seneca Lake to the West and Cayuga Lake to the east there are many, many wineries. We sampled wines at two on a beautiful late summer day and had the most memorable lunch of the trip sitting on a sheltered deck looking out over some vineyards to Cayuga Lake.
