In August 2017 Ye Olde Photographer and his Faire Spouse spent an hour or two at Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve, north and east of Yellow Springs, Ohio, off Ohio Route 343. There were several trails, one along the rim and one descending to the river level. Plus there are trail connections to the adjacent John Bryan State Park. There are interesting limestone cliffs showing different layers, as well as views of the Little Miami River at various points. We got a pretty good hike out of it.
This was an exercise stop during a our Eclipse Ramble 2017.
