In August 2017 Ye Olde Photographer and his Faire Spouse spent an hour or two here at Barkcamp State Park. (The name comes from a function performed here during days of logging operations.) The park is east of the town of Belmont, a short distance south off Interstate 70 about half way between Wheeling West Virginia and Cambridge Ohio.
The park was quite pleasant with a number of trails to hike (and a few for horseback riding). We hiked enough to work off our morning breakfast — and then some. We then traveled on to Cambridge and enjoyed a nice light lunch. From there we landed at Franklin Park Conservatory outside of Columbus.
This stop was part of our EclipseRamble2017.
