This is ordinary table salt. The individual crystals are hard to see with the naked eye.
Shot with a Tamron 90 mm f/2.8 1:1 macro at closest focus, plus a reversed Nikkor 50 mm f/1.8.
Lit with a pair of flashes on a Manfrotto flash bracket. The camera and flash were both in manual mode.
