This is a fractal generated with a computer video camera and a kaleidoscope program called ScopeWorks.

ScopeWorks can generate animated kaleidoscopes from still images or from video from a video camera.

If you run ScopeWorks from a video feed and then point the camera at the screen, the result is a recursive transformation that creates fractal images that warp and evolve in front of your eyes. The results are very similar to IFS fractals.
