We don't know each other, but I am a "photojournalist" who has worked for newspapers and wire services for 40 years. I attended high school in Simcoe and Port Dover in the early 60's. I was an army brat and my father was stationed at the Hagersville camp.
I came upon your web site while looking for information the the old Summer Garden dance hall. I enjoyed browsing through your galleries and see where your interests lie.
The best of course are the photos of your ginger tabby Lynx. We have had three ginger cats, although down to two since losing our oldest to kidney disease last thanksgiving. The second oldest is Max, and he lazes about just like your Lynx. He also weights 22 lbs. A much younger ginger guy named Lenny, now 3, is lighter but just as photogenic.
As you can image, I've documented all our cat's lives over 30 years.
People ask me how I get such nice photos our cats, and I always tell them, have your camera ready at all times.
