Day 3: Touring the North Loop

Our day-long private tour was chartered with See Yellowstone Tours. Laurie was our guide. Although he's clearly not a "morning person," we enjoyed his company and his informative commentary as the day wore on. Laurie was happy to take us where we wanted to go and stop when we wanted to stop for a look or a photo. And he suggested some fantastic parts of the route that we otherwise wouldn't have known about. The previous day we toured the area between West Yellowstone and Old Faithful. So, this day, we asked Laurie to take us around the "north loop" to include the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Tower Fall and the Mammoth Hot Springs area. He one-upped us by including a tour of the breathtaking Lamar Valley.
