Beautiful Sedona | Historic La Posada

Beautiful Sedona

On our drive to Sedona we stopped at the Rock Springs Café for lunch and, of course, a slice of their delicious home made pie. Approaching Sedona via AZ 179, we're always struck by the beauty of the red rock formations and everything that goes with them. We stopped and enjoyed the views from at the Red Rock Ranger District visitor center. A bit later, we checked into our hotel in West Sedona and that evening we attended a nearby gathering for the wedding party and guests hosted by groom Ryan's parents. On Saturday, we walked, shopped and ate in Tlaquepaque, an "arts and crafts village" styled to look like a traditional Mexican Village. The wedding that night was at Sky Ranch Lodge, near the Sedona Airport. And the reception, which included a lovely dinner, was held at the Heartline Café. A great time was had by all.
