Life in 2006

My photo a day project predominately includes pictures taken around the United Arab Emirates but it also includes pictures from visits to Oman, Morocco, Kuwait (twice), Ireland (twice), Scotland (three times), Egypt (twice), Afghanistan (definately only once), Sudan, India, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Several people took pictures of me for the project. These pictures were taken by Hem, Mary, Ute, Duncan, Stephen, Andrew, my Dad, Sue, Gaya and Alan. I used my Canon EOS 30D, my Fujifilm Finepix S7000Z and my Sony DSC-T30.

I like the Wilbur the bear at home. Have kept it for my screen saver.

I don't think I can even imagine what 50 degrees C feels like, I need shorts for anything above 10 C, beer for anything above 16 C, more beer above 20 C, and above 25 I tend to collapse from the beer I started whne it was 16C
