Maria Sharapova's second opponent was no. 3 seed Victoria Azarenka.

Bill told me that he expected Maria to lose this match...though she will put up a good fight. Victoria easily took the first set. Then all of a sudden we saw a different Maria Sharapova. Maria fought hard and won the second set...and continued on to win the match. Bill and I were both shocked! I was happy...I was rooting for Maria all along.

What do I think of Victoria? She deserves her no. 3 seeding. She played an excellent game. Too bad Maria beat her.

Looks department? I better keep my mouth shut!
