Wednesday is track workout night, when we cram more than 100 people onto a 400 meter track and hope they don't run all over each other. Actually, all you need to know is that when someone behind you yells "TRACK", you'd better get your butt over, or you're gonna have tread marks up your back. These workouts take place regardless of weather -- snow, sleet, rain, or as this night, Code Red heat. (Nobody ever said runners were smart -- just focused.)

I hoped to get motion in this shot, and I did. I like it -- even if my model runner was a bit of a showboater.
