Hey Allan, outstanding stuffs you got here. Photos make me wish I could be there now. I knew all along that Khmer is very unique in our own ways. All the world has been knowing about Camodia is Killing Field. Given the time, the world will know about Cambodia for Ankor Wat, peace loving people, generousity from the heart, and friendly attitude toward strangers. Khmer around the world should work together to rebuild Cambodia in any way possible. And your photos are part of that rebuilding. You are introducing and giving hope and dream for Khmer, thanks.

Being a Khmer person I am ashame to say that I have never thought of ever going to Cambodia. I have never seen it for it's beauty. I dread spending countless hours watching those stupid travel documentary/karaoke of places in Cambodia. I couldn't see the beauty it possesses, but I see it more as a place that is very scary and unsafe to be. Your pictures have changed my mind. You've captured the essence of the REAL Cambodia, the Cambodia by parents and grandparents love. Now I truly understand why they long to go back to their home. I can't wait till i can actually go to Cambodia one day and experience it myself. Cambodia is a beautiful country. I thank you for showing me that. Keep up the good work. Your photos are stunning.

Hey Allan, your pictures are amazing. It's nice to remember the two days in Kompong Chang, I was the most intense (close-to-locals) experience I had in cambodia. (and your pics are so much better than mine ...). Since I've came back, I've been really busy (I'm moving into my own flat tomorrow, I'm working again and there are suddenly so many things to do...), but I promise to write you a proper mail soon. OMG i love all the sunset pictures... that would have just been so amazing to watch. Seeings as Oz doesn't have anything close to it. The colours are so vibrant. You realli captured the moment and it feels as though im there watching it through the pictures... i still think you should make them into postcards... hehe

Some really great shots; especially in the 2005 series. It was interesting to see the progression in what you chose to shoot between 2001 and 2005, many of the 2001 shots were almost a clich�d with common shots that reflect Cambodia as it is seen in the minds eye of an outsider, whilst the 2005 series does far more for me in reflecting the true essence of what Cambodia really is and shows a greater understanding of the subjects involved. It is always a breath of fresh air to see a photographer that knows Cambodia has far more to offer than just Angkor, 'the horrors of the Khmer Rouge' and unhealthy looking children.
