Piedmont does look a lot like an Australian Sulphur Crested. Imagine the noise of a hundred or more of these flying over your house in the evening, or even descending on to your roof to sharpen their beaks on the woodwork ..... people used to shoot them, but now they are protected carefully. They can destroy an orchard in five minutes. I actually like them, but I don't live in the country or have fruit trees .......
