Sapho Longwing

Scientific name: Heliconius sapho

Starting today I plan to begin adding more butterflies to my gallery, "Some Residents of the Butterfly Garden at the Detroit Zoo". This butterfly
is a new addition to the gallery and has been identified with the help of Ms. Laura Palombi, Associate Director of Invertebrates at the Detroit
Zoo. Ms. Palombi has agreed to continue helping me with the identification of any new species of butterflies that I photograph.

The new chart at the Butterfly Garden, which contains photographs of butterflies in this gallery, is currently at the printer and will be available
shortly at the Butterfly Garden to help visitors identify various species of butterflies.
