How To Freeze Your Buns (See Left Side Of Photo) On Athabasca Glacier

Trust me. It was bitter cold up there!

The Athabasca Glacier is the most famous glacier in North America. As part of the Columbia Icefield, the Athabasca Glacier represents
one of six major glaciers that flow off of this enormous accumulation of ice. With easy access to the Icefields Parkway, on busy
days in the summer more than 6,000 will take a trip on Brewster Transportation's Snowcoach Tours. These
specially designed 6-wheel drive vehicles take you one mile out onto the ice where you
can disembark and stand on 1000 feet of solid ice.

i was there in May 07 with shorts on. Sun was shining & there was no wind & it was nice & warm. I wasn't wearing thongs (or flip flops) though, like the lady in the blue top.
