I imagine you could pull detail from a $10.00 lens. Always exceptional :-)

Great animal portraits. I have a D200, and very pleased I am with it (after initial problems understanding the low sharpening algorithm for JPEG as I don't have a quality RAW NEF converter that will do D200 NEFs yet. I am convinced that for most of my work the 18-200 VR would be fine (I have one on order but it hasn't come in yet). Clearly one can see the quality of the images - even at full bore at 200mm (300 equivalency in 35mm of course). How about wider shots - have you experienced any flaring or ghosting problems? Great shots though regardless of equipment used. Paul England
