Bill, this is the Nawiliwili Lighthouse at the end of Nawiliwili Harbor. It was constructed in 1932 and automated in 1953. The tower's fourth-order Fresnel lens was replaced by a DCB-36 beacon in 1984, which is the bright light at the top. The lighthouse is near the grounds of the Kauai Marriott and adjacent to two outstanding golf courses, which were clearly visible as the ship sailed out of the harbor. I have added a photo showing one of the golf courses prior to reaching the lighthouse.

I assume this is a Lighthouse of sorts. Unusual that it has no dome on the top. Nice capture, Jay
