This photograph, not previously posted, was taken last year from a fast moving tour boat in an area called Bird Island off of
Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia. To obtain a sharp image of the seals, I shot at ISO 800 with maximum aperture,
which raised the shutter speed to 1/4000s. Even so, on a fast moving boat, one never knows if a shutter speed
such as this will be fast enough!
