Steve Highfield In The Great Langdale Valley

The Lake District

On the previous evening our group had the pleasure of meeting Steve Highfield, a well-known member of Pbase, renowned for his landscape
and night photography. Steve's Pbase profile can be seen here: http://www.pbase.com/shuk1in12x/profile . Steve met us at our
hotel near Lake Windermere, stayed with the group for much of our time in the Lake District, and generously provided each of
us with lots of photographic tips while we were shooting. Indeed, Steve has posted a gallery, "English Photo Workshop -
A Party From The USA", highlighting some of his experiences with us and presenting some of his own amazing
images that he took with the group: http://www.pbase.com/shuk1in12x/photo_workshop .
I wish I had a quarter of Steve's talent!

I also had the pleasure of spending time with Steve in his van as we drove around the Lake District together consuming litres of
petrol and getting lost from time to time. Thank you for a memorable time, Steve.

Many Thanks for a superb time in the Lakes with you and the group.
It was a great experience, one I'll never forget!
Best, Steve
ps. So that's where I left my glasses, no wonder I couldn't read the maps :-) :-)
