Daugereau Iditarod '09

Laura Daugereau showed once again her utmost love and respect for the dogs in her care,
by scratching from the 2009 Iditarod earlier today.
This was a heart-breaking decision on her part, but one she will NOT regret.
Her team can continue to trust her, and will run well for her another day.
Thank God that in His Sovereignty, He has kept she and the dogs safe in this difficult race
that will undoubtedly go down as one of the worst weather years in Iditarod's history.

Your Light Shines Brightly out there, Laura, as you continue to put yourself behind your dogs' happiness & well-being. Scratching from this race was the bravest, toughest thing you could have done, and you will not regret it. You are bringing all your dogs home with smiles on their faces !
