Great Wall

I was exhausted after a few minutes scaling the wall then I felt rather silly when a group of seventy year old Chinese ladies came steaming passed me. This lady didnt want me to take her picture when I asked, so I used my wide angle to catch her unaware. A cheap trick and I'm sorry if you happen to find yourself here!

I like this photo Mr P. Though she's trying to remain out of the frame the fact she's in it and leaning away seems to highlight the vast expanse of the wall on the landscape even more. The layers of hills dissolving into the distance brings back some good memories for me too - I saw the Great Wall four or five years ago. My flatmate has a photo of me on one vaguely uphill section looking pathetically knackered - it's pretty amusing, so it made me laugh to read about the turbo charged old women.
