one of those rare 'mundane' shots that crosses over the line into greatness......V

This is a brilliant image. Your extreme wide angle give brings this image to life. It's a curious scene to begin with and the black and white makes the documentary feel of the image really work. The composition seems to give a sense of these men being pulled out of the water. Your framing gives a nice simple background of thirds: sand, water, sky. And somehow it seems that the simple lines created by the waves, clouds and hillsides have all conspired to keep us pulled toward the middle of the image. As we have been talking about images that stand out. For me, this is one of yours that I think does so. When you did all the right things and all the elements conspired to have you create a tremendous image. Bravo!

This is a great shot. You found room for each and every subject, one of the most difficult things to achieve in shooting a frame with many subjects.

Oh!! Are they coming out from water? Are they amphibious beings (lol) ?... Nice atmosphere - you managed an abstract and mysterious scene, although the capture concernes a very concrete situation. Drama and mistery is all around; the wide perspective is excellent! From your best, for sure!

At first I thought this was all one person. This is a great shot and sure makes me wonder what's going on!
