"Glass" bottom seal techniques

I did this graphic for the article on glass bottoms for DuckworksMagazine.com and thought I'd post it here for those interested since the article is not out yet, and since it will be a little while til I get to the glass bottom part of Larry/Bob. I think that scratch proof Lexan (MR-10) will create a quiet revolution in home boat building, as the benefits of viewing bottoms are so cool, and installation so easy when done right, that you will see many boats with these. I cannot believe that I am the only one doing this - yet. You would be amazed at how entrancing it is to look for fish and see other wildlife underwater without getting wet. Only then can you truly relate to what Luis Marden, the famous National Geographic photographer that documented much of the early dives off the "Calypso" with Jacques Cousteau, when he wrote in 1956, " I seemed to hang . . . as if suspended in the heart of an enormous liquid sapphire".
