I have always been interested in nature and wildlife but only recently developed a keen interest in birds and photography. Most of my photos have been taken in the field and also in my own backyard in the beautiful Pacific Northwest where I have lived all of my life. There are no captive birds in my galleries and all photos were taken with the greatest of care not to disturb the surroundings or any of my subjects.
