Light almost gone here at canal level... AF had NO problem though down to 1/12 sec handheld.
Thing is, ALL these shots were jpegged straight out of the RAWS in Raw Coverter EX2 on bogstandard setting.
Which begs the question of how they'd be if I'd "bothered",ie, going for 16-bit tiff output and progressive sharpening in post.
Part of me now covets the XT-2 and a crafty batch of M42 Takumars or Pentacons ..small beer indeed.
But tell you the truth, at the moment it FEELS like I've got a new system anyway.
And bear in mind, I'm no "fanboy" by nature: if the XT-1 was cack on a stick for me, I'd say.
A further disclaimer is, that whereas at v 5.0 of the XT-1 ware, the AF and whole snappiness of my system is FAR improved, if I took photojournalist shots and had to earn a crust, I'd be at the XT-2 and a short tele like a rat up a drainpipe.
And flare? I LIKE flare; flare is my friend who gatecrashes a party but actually adds some life and soul just when you're expecting him to steal the family silver.
