One week later: fresh JK stands are highlighted.
Also, my lines indicate boundaries of recent mowing or cropping.
This will have disturbed and spread JK further, rendering these peripheries more vigorous...and this is clearly shown in other images here.
A fence or barrier erected several metres within the field, would more effectively isolate the JK for treatment and reduce disturbance of JK material and soil.
Such a barrier, as well as being indicative of prompt and solution-focused engagement by the site owner, can also seen as a positive indicator to the public and farming community that the site is being developed in an aware, positive and safe manner.
Thus...from a vector of knotweed, can also be engendered a vector for transparent and forward-thinking development of the site.
