To my eye, the statues and sculptures here have a flowing grace, life and curves that are amplified by the lines of buildings or even the surrounding landscape. I'm not dissing here, yet people(especially the ones pretending to be statues outside the Uffizi) seem so cramped in body and movement by comparison. Here in the Piazza della Signoria it was a matter of choosing an appropriate, "squashing" focal length and awaiting a suitable image on the rear screen to juxtapose with the sculptures.
