My hometown of New London, WI.....rich in Irish heritage, every year changes its name the week before St. Patricks Day to New Dublin, and then everyone goes nuts for a week. There is a huge parade which draws thousands of people and is said to be the largest St Patricks Day parade in the state. I usually get to ride in the parade on a fire truck and I take pictures of the spectators who are showing some Irish spirit. Here are just a few of the people that made it out that day.

Tammie, what an interesting parade. We may try to see it next year. It looks similar to our Twin-O-Rama days here in Cassville (July). It's lost some of its oomph over the years, but is still a big draw. I really love living in a small community, living among a thousand residents after living around millions most of my life, what a pleasure! You can actually hear life going on around you. Great photo journal. Thanks for sharing, Ed
