Near Omro Wi

My first shot of a sandhill this spring. I had been seeing pairs of them here and there for about the past week or so and also hearing them in the morning, but had yet to grab a shot of one. Fisher and I went over by Omro this past weekend and there was a pair picking away in a field. They were very unconcerned about us, and didn't seem to mind that we were pulled over on the side of the road fairly close to them.

Right now there are only pairs back. The bachelor birds have yet to arrive.
