I’ve always thought the world looks best through the lens -- so clean & crisp, capturing a moment in time, forever. Photography is the medium that best suits my personality. I like to see quick results. The infinite array of subject matter, post processing options & formats of the final work allows for endless creativity. Since I’ve always been drawn to the ocean, many of my travels have taken place on or near the sea. Soon after “diving in,” it was only natural to want to extend my passion for photography to this newfound world and share it with others. For me, that’s the real thrill of scuba diving. What seems like an endless variety of colors, textures, patterns, shapes & behaviors of the creatures in this amazing place called Inner Space got me hooked. Soon after adjusting to the challenges of shooting in this new world, I began to concentrate my photography on the minutia that is often overlooked. Capturing these wonders in their natural state and transforming them into art has since become my niche. Imagery can be so powerful. I hope that my work does a small part to help people appreciate all the beauty there is to see on this planet (whether it’s above or underwater) as well as raise awareness of how important it is to help conserve these environments. I look forward to exploring more places and continuing to share my enthusiasm for photography.
