Orchids

Orchids which appear in this gallery are primarily from the midwestern states of WI, MI and IL. A few are from the Bruce Peninsula in Ontario, Canada. They have all been photographed in their natural settings with Nikkor macro lenses of either 105mm or 200mm focal lengths. Some of the smaller orchids required the use of 50mm extension tube to get close enough to show detail.
