Great photos. It has been a long time since I was in Vietnam and I didn't see this side of it. I wish I had.

I am a vietnamese canadian. I really appreciate all your pictures, Doug. I think They are very appealing to not only those who grew up there and had many fond memories, like Lan put it, but also to those who have traveled to Vietnam.
For me, I grew up there and your pictures remind me of familiar faces, places, streets, etc. Some of them touch my heart dearly.
Just want to thank you for sharing beautiful pic's about a great-but- still- poor country like Vietnam
