I start this gallery with some pictures that are nothing but shots I took when approaching the Salihiye district from downhill, starting near the old station. One passes some embassies but once again I was told not to take pictures.

There was a funny part when the soldier who stopped me told me surely I could not take pictures of embassies in my country (The Netherlands) and I had to tell him I was certain there was nothing stopping me. He was surprised, to say the least.

There are some fine buildings along the road, this being one of them.
