All these pictures were taken along the coast, where my hotel stood, a bit out of the centre. I walked each evening along the boulevard, to some restaurants in the old town. They were decribed in one guide as rather mediocre, but the face lift that was hitting town had had its effect here too and they looked modern and pleasant. Food was great, as it tends to be all over Syria.
