These pictures were taken at Al-Bara, a city that is to a great extent hidden amidst all sorts of vegetation. It is quite large. Highlights are some churches and a couple of pyramid tombs, but many, many big buildings are standing part-hidden in the surrounding hills.

Lots of pictures of the larger of two pyramidal tombs, this one with five sarcophagi that look pretty intact inside. The detail on the stonework is amazingly well-preserved.
