This is, after Jeradeh, the second dead city that we visit, it is Ruweiha. Like at Jeradeh people live happily amidst the ancient ruins, the scale is larger than at the previous city even.
Special about Ruweiha is that it has, with the Church of Bissos, said to be the largest in northern Syria. Do not expect a proud building though, since it is mainly a ruins, the visit being complicated by the fact that families live here. I took only a few shots. Bissos himself remains an enigma. His tomb is nearby, with an inscription referring to him, but there the story ends.
