Dead cities from Hama april 2009 8645.jpg

We are here at Jeradeh. At two kilometers from Ruweila it’s “dead houses” seem to have integrated with modern dwellings in a strange amalgam. The Bradt Guide claims the main reason to go here is to see a tower that I will point out later, it indeed is somewhat curious. But I found the integration between the life of the village and the older dead houses much more fascinating.

Would someone know what plant this is?

The species looks quite similar to Arum palaestinum.

Mr Dick Osseman:
About the plant, it belong to the family Araceae, I don't know certainly the genera (although probably is Arum) and the species.
Thank you very much for all your wonderful pictures
