Several shots of the minaret in the centre of the long wall facing the prayer hall. It is called the Tower of the Bride (Madhanet Al-'Arous). The lower part if ninth century, the upper part 12th century. The bride in question is thought to have been the daughter of a rich merchant who gave enough lead to cover the minaret roof and later became the sultans wife.

In its front one of two columns with now some abstract motive on top, they used to hold lamps.
