To the northeast of the Al Merjeh or Martyrs Square, there is another open space, a bit more dilapidated (but upgraded, I noticed a difference five months after an earlier visit), but with a well restored building, that to me seems to be an old bath-house. In 2021 I found it indeed is the Hammam Aramani (also written as Hammam al-Qaramani, early Ottoman (1562/2)).
