Üçağız seems to be (what the Turkish name implies) “Three mouths”, for as far as I can fathom it is always mentioned in connection with Kekova, an island opposite this small harbour. Kekova is famous, for its atmosphere and nearby “sunken towns”. I did not want to go on a two-hour tour (offered for € 30 at the start of town, but I think prices will come down after some haggling), not being much of a boating man (I get bored and want to go for a swim), nor an islands man (most are much to small, I get bored and want to go for a swim). So I drank some nar suyu (pomegranate juice) and walked a bit amongst the necropolis (nothing special). A castle that was visible from town seemed like a fine destination, but the road leading to it was too bad for the car I was in, and I called it a day. So just a few pictures. I may return some time, check into a local pension and see the surroundings more thoroughly.
