Lycian town at the coast
Olympos is situated along the river Olympos, at the coast. Around the corner of a cliff I could not pass without getting wet lies Çıralı, a popular resort for travellers who wish to avoid the big hotels elsewhere along the Mediterranean. I show a few pictures of Çıralı here also. Nearby are rather famous eternal natural flames emanating from the volcanic ground, called Chimaera, I did not visit those. As a matter of fact I saw only part of the much more extensive ancient town, since it is hard to visit some parts that are overgrown or lying up a steep hill.
