There used to be an old line travelling along the Marmara side of the old town. Only a few years ago it was functional, but I doubt if it will be resurrected. At any rate, in 2015 I did not see it in action. So here are some pictures from that old line.

In its heyday it was fun because salesman would sell things like razor blades or lighters, making a great show and selling mainly between station.
