Interior of Nasrullah Mosque

The mosque, on a square with the same name, was built in 1506 by Kadı Nasrullah (b. Ya'k Yab), who was a professor in Kastamonu and Istanbul. Hacı Mustafa Efendi expanded the building in 1746. In 1875 it was repaired.

It is understood that the part belonging to the first period was covered with six domes and was in the ulu cami-style. The 1746 expansion added three domes in the direction of the qibla, and the last congregation place was added to the north with a vaulted vault in the west. Today it has a square plan 23 meters in length and is covered with nine domes, which are provided with pendentives. 40 windows let in light.
There are hand drawn ornaments dominated by floral motifs made in the 19th century. The inscriptions inside the mosque belong to the calligrapher Ahmed Şevki Efendi from Kastamonu.
