Küre is a small town along the Kastamonu to Inebolu road in the Black Sea region. Busses running that track tend to make a stop there (not the bigger busses running longer tracks though), with all passengers climbing out, many taking a smoke, then the bus pushes on. I have always enjoyed that short stop, right in the small heart of town. However, I have rarely visit the town for its own sake and certainly not on a market day. The somewhat sleepy town came to life and I spend several fine hours taking pictures of the people, the goods and the houses. I hope to delve up someday the one or two pictures of the mosque I must have as a slide somewhere and present them here, in the mean time enjoy the market crowd.
